Fair Acres Boutique Hotel is the best boutique hotel in Nairobi that blends the elegance of gracious living with the spirit of modern Africa. Nearly a decade ago we opened our home to our first guests, hoping to provide them with an experience that felt most like home. Today, our promise is to give you an intimate luxury experience in your home away from home. We opened our doors in 2015, with the dream of creating a luxury experience within the comforts of a home. By 2019, demand had risen so high that we needed to build our 20 room annex, which allowed us to expand into our luxury annex, which houses our iconic Honeymoon Suites as well as our private Suites.

Each of our individualized rooms has its own unique character: whether it’s our standalone, self-contained cabin or one of our luxurious self-contained Suites, some of which come with a complete kitchen and living room, in addition to our crafted beds and en-suite bathrooms.

Fair Acres Boutique Hotel was the brainchild of an enterprising entrepreneur whose dream to create a unique hotel chain that focused on making sure guests felt they were in a warm and homely environment.

As part of our commitment to creating a sustainable business enterprise, we have embedded responsible business practices across our entire organization. This includes ensuring that all our processes, systems and operations align with our vision to be a responsible business.

From our lush gardens to our laundry processes, we have put in place measures to ensure that we continually minimize our environmental footprint by implementing sustainable initiatives and action plans to reduce the use of energy and water, avoid the use of plastic and effectively manage waste.

  • Energy: We have put in place smart lighting solutions to ensure that energy is only used when necessary.
  • Water: During your stay, we invite you to instruct us on how often you would like us to launder your room in order to minimise excessive water use. In addition, we recycle all water used to maintain our beautiful gardens, ensuring that nutrients are fed back into the ecosystem in a sustainable manner.
  • Waste: We have eliminated use of plastic bottles in areas like our conference rooms, and have put in place a comprehensive program to switch to glass bottles within the hotel.
  • Community: We are aware that we have a responsibility to do what we can to enhance our relationship with the communities around our hotel. As part of our outreach, we offer bursaries to needy students in our community.
  • Diversity: We maintain a strong focus on ensuring that we are an inclusive employer by hiring people from diverse backgrounds and values.
